CARAMOAN,
Camarines Sur—Floodwaters, which affected the entire town, has subsided, as of this afternoon.

The police
said that the flooding was caused by the heavy rains brought by typhoon Ompong and the overflow of the water from Hanopol Dam.
According
to PSI Louie Manuel Dimaano Dela Peña, OIC of Caramoan Police Station, members
of the police have been dispatched to the barangays to check on the residents and monitor the situation.
No casualty
or damaged infrastructure has been reported as of press time.
The road,
according to the police, has been declared not passable to vehicles travelling
from Centro Poblacion to Naga City, and vice versa.— BICOLSTANDARD.COM
