#walangpasok: October 6 is Eidul Adha

October 6 has been declared a regular holiday nationwide in observance of Islam's Eidul Adha or Feast of Sacrifice.

This was announced under Proclamation No. 875, Series of 2014 by President Benigno Aquino III.

The date is based on a declaration by Saudi Arabia’s highest religious body and a recommendation by the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF).
