PNP reiterates no helmet, no travel policy

NAGA CITY--Police Senior Supt. Primo Berico Golingay, Officer-in-Charge of the Camarines Sur Police Provincial Office (CSPPO) warned the public on Monday that they will strictly enforce the law in the use of motorcycle helmets.

Golingay, speaking at the Multipurpose Hall of the CSPPO, also emphasized that motorcycle riders need to secure the proper documents before using their vehicles, as the police will implement the "No Plate, No Travel," and "No Registration, No Travel" policies.

Golingay, along with Police Supt. Romeo Landagan Pillonar, Deputy Provincial Director for Administration, PCI Amado C. Montana, Chief Operations officer of the CSPPO, led a dialoue with 35 motorcycle dealers of the province to seek their assistance in implementing the laws.

They stressed that the dealers should issue the proper documents to buyers to facilitate the investigation of crimes involving said vehicles.
