An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.1 struck Catanduanes at 12:16 A.M. Saturday.

4.2-magnitude quake strikes Catanduanes

The earthquake was tectonic in origin, with a 24-kilometer depth of focus, according to Phivolcs.

The epicenter was recorded at 13.93°N, 124.38°E - 009 km N 78° E of Panganiban, Catanduanes.
