6 Cam Sur police chiefs relieved

CAMARINES SUR—Six chiefs of police were relieved of their posts today for failing to comply with the target output system of the Philippine National Police (PNP).

They are Police Senior Supt. Vicente Marpuri of Libmanan, Police Chief Insp. Eugenio Manondo of Pasacao, Police Chief Insp. Efren Orlina of Tigaon, Police Senior Insp. Mariano Sermona of Tinambac, Police Senior Insp. Nicel Companero of Sagnay, and Police Senior Insp. Stephen Cabaltera of Garchitorena.

The police chiefs were evaluated on their performance based on the indicators of crime prevention, crime solution, and law enforcement.

They will undergo a one-month refresher course at the Police Regional Office 5 in Albay.

Apart from the six police chiefs from Camarines Sur, four others from Sorsogon and one from Catanduanes were relieved of their post.—by Oscar Esmenda/BICOLSTANDARD.COM
