Voters may register from September 20 until September 29 at the Office of the Election Officers (OEO) of their towns or cities.
Marpuri noted that Filipino citizens who are 15 to 17 years old on or before February 21, 2015 are qualified to register.
They must make a personal appearance at the OEO with any of the following documents: birth certificate, baptismal certificate, or school record which bears their date of birth.
Meanwhile, the OEOs are also directed to cancel the registration of voters who are beyond the mandatory age on the date of the election.
Marpuri said that their office is now ready to accommodate all qualified registrants.—BICOLSTANDARD.COM
