4 Bicolanos top Mining Engineer Licensure Exams

NAGA CITY—Four Bicolanos made it to the list of examinees who garnered the ten highest scores in the August 2014 Mining Engineer Licensure Examination.

In third place is Mario Nikko Alimagno Priela of the University of the Philippines Diliman. Priela, who is from Nabua, Camarines Sur, got a score of 87%.

Bicol University’s Jiennie Glor de los Santos Saenz placed 7th with a score of 85.95%.

Jes Francis Morcoso Tanchuling of UP Diliman placed 8th with 85.95%. Tanchuling hails from Camalig, Albay.

Meanwhile, Arve Ebuenga Sevillano, also of Bicol University, garnered a score of 85.25%.

Bicol University-Legazpi was also among the top-performing schools, with a passing rate of 78.25%.

The results were released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) today, September 1.

123 out of 146 examinees passed the mining engineer board examinations administered by the Board of Mining Engineering in Manila last month.—BICOLSTANDARD.COM
