8-year-old kidnapped pupil found dead in Virac

VIRAC, Catanduanes--The town is still in shock after police found the slain body of Sean Andrie Agripa, the 8-year-old pupil who went missing yesterday afternoon.

The body was dumped next to the new BIR building at Barangay San Isidro Village in this town, the SOCO team revealed.

Agripa was allegedly kidnapped by Cecilio Paredes, a resident of Albay, and still unidentified companions.

UPDATE: Suspect in Virac child slay case speaks 

Paredes, who was apprehended by the police, confessed that he and his companions brought the victim to a lodging house.

The victim was a pupil at Virac Pilot Elementary School and a resident of Barangay Gogon Sirangan.

He was the son of businessman Vicente Agripa.
