The Office of Civil Defense-Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (OCD-DRRMC) conducted an aerial survey of the Sorsogon forest fire last Friday to assess the extent of the damage. An earlier report from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said that hectares of tiger grass (talahib), cassava (kamoteng-kahoy), young coconut tree (tagbong) and other root crops were damaged by the fire.
