2 nabbed in Naga City for firing at couple

NAGA CITY – Police here arrested two motorcycle-riding suspects for allegedly firing a gun at a couple who were on also board another motorcycle Friday evening.

The incident happened at around 9:30 PM at Blumentritt St. Barangay Tinago.

Karl Marc Perez y Santos, 34, single, and a resident of 13 Barangay Calauag, Naga City, and Randy Rosero y De Leon, 28, single, of Barangay Marupit, Camaligan were identified by the Naga City Police Office as the suspects.

Meanwhile, the victims were Princess Mirasol y Villamor, 18, of Zone 3, Barangay Haring Canaman, Camarines Sur, and Christopher Dave Mendones, of Canaman, Camarines Sur.

The initial investigation reveals that Villamor and Mendones are live-in partners who were heading towards Barangay Triangulo when the suspects started chasing them.

Perez allegedly fired a gun of an unknown caliber at them while Rosero drove the motorcycle.

When they reached Barangay Lerma, Perez pointed the gun at the couple, the report added.

Elements of the Naga City Police Office led by PSI Florida, along with tanods of Barangay Lerma responded to the incident and arrested the suspects along Panganiban Drive, Barangay Dinaga.
