Legazpi clergy joins call for APEC to restore power

LEGAZPI CITY--The priests of the Diocese of Legazpi are now waiting for the response of Albay Power and Energy Corporation regarding their appeal to restore the supply of electricity in the province of Albay.
Msgr. Ramon "Monching" Tronqued
In an interview by Radio Veritas Legazpi of Msgr. Ramon "Monching" Tronqued, Vicar General of the Diocese and Rector of St. Gregory the Great Parish said their group will base their next step on the action that APEC will make.

Tronqued, in the same interview, emphasized that once APEC fails to take action, or ignores their letter, their group will become "pro-active."

Meanwhile, multi-sectoral groups from the province are still calling for Albayanos to get involved in the APEC issue.--BICOLSTANDARD.COM
