Robbers ransack 10 classrooms in Naga City

NAGA CITY—10 classrooms of the Concepcion Pequeña Elementary Schools were ransacked last night by unidentified persons who carted away several pieces of equipment and school properties.

Police investigators say that the robbers made their forcible entry by destroying the door knobs.

Others entered the building by breaking the jalousies and windows.

While inside the classroom, they destroyed some electric fans and took the fans' electric motors together with other personal items placed inside the teacher’s drawers.

Included in the missing items were the donation envelopes with small amounts of money earmarked for mass offerings.

Early this morning, the school officials were surprised when they discovered that their classrooms were already open.

At press time, police authorities are still compiling their investigation report.—by Boyet Paderes/BICOLSTANDARD.COM
