Sandiganbayan issues arrest order vs Mayor Jalgalado, 2 others

CAPALONGA, CAMARINES NORTE – Capalonga town Mayor Senandro Jalgalado, together with Municipal Engineer Wilfredo I. Caldit, Jr., and Administrative Aide Francisco T. Jueves, Jr., were ordered arrested by the Second Division of the Sandiganbayan, for the alleged crime of Malicious Mischief, docketed CC # SB 14-CRM-0289.

The Provincial Police office here said that the arrest order was issued by Hon. Napoleon E. Inoturan, Acting Chair of the 2nd Division of the Sandiganbayan.

The said court recommended bail amounting to P10,000 for each of the accused.

The report said that the three accused have already posted their bail last July 31, even prior to their receipt of the arrest warrant.

At press time, Jalgalado, Caldit, Jr,. Jueves, Jr., could not be reached for their comments on the issue.

It will be recalled that the same town executive was also the subject of a complaint filed with the Municipal Police Station of this town for allegedly firing his gun while at the back of the premises of the said police station.—BICOLSTANDARD.COM
