Typhoon Glenda electrocutes 2 in Cam Sur

SAGNAY, CAMARINES SUR—Two victims survived after experiencing an electric shock this morning at Sitio La Purisima, Barangay Nato in this town.

They were identified as Jesus Vargas and Antonio Cabana.

The two were reportedly trying to lower their television antenna, as Signal Number 3 was hoisted in this province.

Vargas and Cabana were rushed to the Sagnay Infirmary immediately after the accident.

Early reports from DZRP said that they died from the electrocution. However, Station Manager Audie Concina of the same radio station clarified that they survived the incident.

At round 8 AM, a forced evacuation was implemented by the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council in the coastal barangay of Nato.—BICOLSTANDARD.COM
