Man abducted in Sorsogon

CASTILLA, SORSOGON—A man was abducted at around 6:30 PM last Friday at Barangay Burabod by two unidentified men, the police revealed.

The victim was identified as Cerelo Mejeroda, 53, married, and a resident of Barangay Loreto in this town.

Mejeroda reportedly told his wife that he will buy cigarettes at Barangay Burabod. While he was standing in front of Salvador Latonero’s rice mill, however, the two malefactors approached and took Mejeroda on their motorcycle.

The suspects proceeded to the direction of Barangay Cumadcad, this town, the report added.

As of press time, the police are still conducting a follow-up investigation on the incident.—BICOLSTANDARD.COM
