Robbers steal rice, groceries, gadgets

LIBON, ALBAY – Police investigators are still probing the robbery incident that was reported at Bararangay San Francisco the other day.

The victim was identified as Ma. Josefa Sevilla y Tan, 54, married and a resident of this place.

The members of the victim’s family said that on or about 9:00 in the evening, robbers gained entry into their house by forcibly destroying their steel grills and window jalousies.

Once inside their house, the burglars took and carted away their desktop computer worth P30,000, a Samsung Galaxy cellphone worth P10,000, and a red Nokia Express cellphone worth P2,000.

Also stolen from their house were thirteen kilos of rice, assorted grocery items valued at P3,000 and P800 in cash.

The members of the police immediately dispatched a team of investigators to conduct a follow-up investigation.
