Said group, led by Aquiles Lo, donated 30 transceiver radio units to the Naga City Police Office yesterday afternoon.

Escobal earlier said that their office is in dire need of transceivers, which could make communication between police officers quicker and more efficient.

Unlike cellphones, transceivers allow users to make free calls without the hassle of dialling.

Escobal reiterated that it is only with the full support of both the public and private sectors that criminality will be lessened, if not eradicated, in Naga City.—With report from Oscar Esmenda/BICOLSTANDARD.COM
