NAGA CITY—21-year-old TV personality Lourdes Aurora “LA” Cu is on the homestretch of her attempt to claim the Miss Chinatown Philippines 2014 crown.

On July 27, the MagTV na Oragon! host and the sole Bicolana in the pageant will slug it out against 23 other beauties from across the nation for the beauty pageant title.

A versatile lady, the Buhi, Camarines Sur-born Cu holds a midwifery and a communication degree from Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges Nabua and Mariners' Polytechnic Colleges, respectively. Her hobbies and interests include playing with her dogs, surfing the Internet, hosting, dancing, and acting.

The Filipino-Chinese stunner is no stranger to beauty pageants, having won a number of these in previous years. Among her titles are Daragang Magayon Almasor 2014, Miss Bicolandia 2011 1st Runner Up, Miss Silka Rinconada 1st Runner Up, Miss Iriga Rinconada 2011, Miss PRISAA 2011 1st Runner Up, Miss Olive-C Campus Model 2010, Miss Tigaon Tourism 2010, Mutya ng Polangui 2010, Mutya ng Tabak 2010 1st Runner Up, Miss Teen Bicol Region 2010, Miss Sorsogon Trade and Commerce 2009, Miss Kamundagan 2009 1st Runner Up, Mutya ng Lambat 2009, Miss Baao Rinconada 2009, Miss Daet 2009, Binibining Alinsangan Rinconada 2009, and Miss Red Cross Youth Council 2008.
