TINAMBAC,
CAMARINES SUR—A 9-year-old boy was found lifeless in the Himoragat River
yesterday at around 5:05 PM, police said.

The body of
Rayven Anora y Olasco, a grade 2 student and a resident of Dona Clara Village
in Naga City, was spotted floating facedown in the body of water by a resident
of Barangay Sogod, this town.
The initial
investigation reveals that the victim left his grandmother’s house at around
noon of the same day.
Elements of
Tinambac Municipal Police Station are still conducting a follow-up
investigation to determine the victim’s cause of death.
Meanwhile,
they reminded residents to keep a closer watch on children to avoid similar
incidents.
It may be
recalled that last month, three victims died from drowning in the same river.—BICOLSTANDARD.COM
