APEC fast-tracking rehabilitation efforts

Albay Power and Electric Corporation (APEC) is seeking to restore power in the province the at soonest possible time. This was the assurance given by the Albay power firm to its consumers.

In an interview today, APEC Customer Service head Jane Rogando said that the delivery of steel poles to replace the ones topped by typhoon Glenda is already underway.

She added that APEC is set to tap a third party firm to augment manpower to hasten rehabilitation efforts.

Yesterday, the power supplier also announced that its Bitano SS Feeders 1 and 2 and Washington SS facilities will be energized anytime – with isolations – once the national grid supplies power.

Meanwhile, Bitano SS Feeder 3 and 4 can be energized possibly within the week – also with isolations.
