Masbate City robbers steal valuables from judge’s residence

MASBATE CITY – Two unidentified suspects in the crime of robbery gained entrance into the residence of Judge Jose Fortuno here and carted away valuable items.

This was reported by Rey Laurio y Vico, the house caretaker.

Laurio told the authorities that he was busy cleaning the house of Judge Fortuno, when he noticed an unusual sound inside the house was generated by the suspects who were busy collecting the shoes, shirts, and other personal belongings.

He explained that when the robbers noticed that somebody was inside the house, they hurriedly moved out.
The robbers made an entry though the wooden jalousies which they destroyed.


This incident was immediately made known to the police. A follow-up operation was conducted by the PNP, but the suspect’s identity could not yet be ascertained as of press time. –BICOLSTANDARD.COM
