NBA SEMIFINALS: Heat downs Nets; Spurs routs Trail Blazers

LeBron James scored 22 points while Chris Bosh added 18 as Miami Heat took a 2-0 lead in the Eastern Conference semifinal series, beating the Brooklyn Nets 94-82 on Thursday (Friday in Manila).

Dwayne Wade had 14 and Ray Allen scored 13 for the Heat.

Mirza Teletovic set a Nets playoff record with six three pointers.

Shaun Livingston scored 15, Paul Pierce had 13 and Joe Johnson added 13 more for the Nets.

Game 3 is on Saturday (Sunday in Manila) at Brooklyn.

Meanwhile, in the Western Conference semi-finals, San Antonio Spurs beat Portland Trail Blazers in Game 2, 114-97.

Spurs has a 2-0 advantage over the Portland Trail Blazers in the Western Conference Semifinals.—BICOLSTANDARD.COM
