New police stations to rise in Goa, Gainza

The Department of Interior and Local Government has allocated substantial amount of money for the construction of new police stations in the province of Camarines Sur.

Sec. Mar Roxas has confirmed that his Department has alloted P4.6 million for the new police station in Goa, and another P4.6 for the municipality of Gainza.

In addition to these, P1 million has been allocated for the repair of the Iriga City Jail.

Meanwhile, twenty-one other PNP stations in the province were allotted fund ranging from P200,000 to P300,000 each to renovate their offices under the DILG’s Oplan Diginity (Oplan Hilamos) program.

A total of P170 million was set aside by the government to renovate at least 1,700 old and dilapidated police stations all over the country.--BICOLSTANDARD.COM
