By virtue of a search warrant issued by Judge Manuel L. Sese of RT Branch 45, William Ong, Tony Locsin, and Benjamin Lalaguna were brought to the PNP headquarters for questioning regarding paraphernalia which are believed to be used in the manufacture of drugs.

The suspects, the reports say, are using an Atlanta Mines Enterprises through Landwealth Mines warehouse for controlled precursors and essential chemicals (CPECS) as well as a clandestine laboratory. This, say authorities, is a clear violation of the R.A. 9165.

The search was conducted in the presence of the respondent and witnesses Jener E. Magbujos Jr. and Media Representative Roberto A. EspaƱola, Barangay Chairman Zaldy M. Dela Cruz, and Barangay Kagawad Emerson Danao.

It will be recalled that last February, elements of the Philippine National Police inQuezon City confiscated boxes of drug manufacture chemicals, along with an electric burner, and pieces of charcoal. Said chemicals were loaded in a bus heading to the island province of Masbate.

It could not, however, be concluded whether the items confiscated last February were related to operation of the alleged drug manufacturing laboratory.—BICOLSTANDARD.COM
