3,312 passengers recorded in Bicol ports

NAGA CITYAs many as 3,312 passengers are now in the five ports across the region as of 9 o'clock tonight, according to Coast Guard District Bicol.

Among these, 310 are in the Albay port; 473 in Sorsogon; 170 in Camarines Sur; 1,777 in Masbate; and 582 in Catanduanes.

Meanwhile, in the entire nation, there are 78,389 passengers in all ports.

The Philippine Coast Guard records these figures as part of its Oplan Ligtas Biyahe Kwaresma 2014, a program which seeks to avert any untoward incident during the Lenten Season.BICOLSTANDARD.COM
