The lecture, which is organized by the Ateneo Literary Association in cooperation with AdNU-POEM, is titled “Pagsasatubuanan: A Lecture-Writeshop on Bikol Poetics.”

Registration begins at 8:30 in the morning, while the lecture proper will take place between 9:00 to 10:00 AM. A writing activitiy and mini-workshop follows the lecture at 11:00 to 12:00 noon.

In the afternoon, a public poetry reading and performance is also slated at 3:30-4:00 at the same venue.
Lastly, a short film on poetry, along with performances by groups like The Super Poet Genome Project Band will entertain the participants.

Poet Chancoco has been organizing initiatives such as these for several years. Just last month, his group read and discussed poems by Filipino author Cirilo Bautista at the Naga City Public Library.—With report from Jose Jason L. Chancoco/BICOLSTANDARD.COM
