A. Bragais Liner gets suspended

A. Bragais Liner, the company that owns the bus that rammed against a parked Isuzu truck just got slapped with a suspension from the Land Transportation and Franchising Regulatory Board (LTFRB) today.

Reports say that it was the accident that caused its suspension.

It will be recalled that last week, five people were killed while 15 were injured in the bus that was bound for Tabaco City in Albay.

The accident happened along the Maharlika Highway in Barangay Bikal in Libmanan at around 4:30 in the morning.

Among those who died due to the accident were Alexander Belen of Bacacay Albay, Arnel Daguyo, Kevin Daguyo, Jason Bonita and Cindy Garcia.

Meanwhile, the driver of the bus, Joey Bermas y Budica was injured.

Earlier, the company assured the victims that it will extend assistance to those who died or were injured by the mishap.—BICOLSTANDARD.COM
