PRC to administer licensure exams in testing centers in the Middle East

Aspiring nurses, teachers, electronic engineers, and technicians in the Middle East will soon have a chance to take licensure exams from the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).


The PRC has announced that it will be administering the Special Professional Licensure Board Examination (SPLBE) in several testing centers in the Middle East.

The testing centers will be in The testing centers are in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; Doha, Qatar; Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; and Al-Khobar, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Among the licensure exams that will be given are those for architects, certified public accountants, civil engineers, dentists (written), electronics engineers, electronics technicians, mechanical engineers, master plumbers, nurses, registered electrical engineers, registered master electricians, and professional teachers.

Applicants may apply through the On-line Application System (OAS) at the PRC website.

The basic requirements that must be submitted by all applicants are a photocopy of their transcript of records (with or without scanned picture and remarks "For Board Examination Purposes Only"); a photocopy of a valid passport; and four passport-size photos with name tag and white background.

Additional requirements will be solicited, depending on the test that the applicant wishes to take.
