Bicol University among best performers in PRC exams

The Bicol University is the sole tertiary institution in Region V which has been recognized as a top-performing school in exams given by Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC).

This is according to reports coming from the House Committee on Higher and Technical Education chaired by Pasig Rep. Roman Romulo.

“We are making this list public to enable consumers of teaching education–prospective teachers and their parents–to make a sound choice as to where they will most likely get the best value for their hard earned tuition money,” Romulo explained.

Bicol University in Legazpi City is among the top schools for mechanical engineering, having garnered 84.29% passing percentage in the last two exams administered by the PRC.

Meanwhile, Bicol University in Daraga is part of the best schools for Certified Public Accountants, with a passing percentage of 85.94% in the previous two exams.

Meanwhile, listed below are the other schools with excellent performance in licensure exams based on PRC records, according to Romulo.
