Police collars suspect in illegal possession of firearms, drugs in Paracale

PARACALE, CAMARINES NORTEA 26-year-old resident of Barangay Bagumbayan of this town will face complaints for alleged violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, Illegal Possession of Explosives, and Illegal Possession of Firearms and Ammunition.

This is after authorities found in his possession several bullets, firearms, and illegal drugs during a raid yesterday morning.

The suspect was identified as Roberto “Albert” De Lima.

The raid was conducted by virtue of a search warrant that was issued by Executive Judge Roberto A. Escaro of Regional Trial Court Branch 38 in Daet.

It was led by Police Chief Inspector Rommel Labarro, together with elements from the Provincial Police Office, representatives from the Department of Justice, media, and barangay officials.

The PNP confiscated the following items from the suspect: four plastic sachets of a substance believed to be metamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu, some shabu paraphernalia, four blasting caps marked Nitro Em 1500, 2 pieces of detonating cord with basting caps, a caliber .38 pistol and several bullets.
