PNP nabs bigtime Nabua drug dealer

NABUA, CAMARINE SUR—A suspected notorious drug dealer, allegedly involved in the sale and distribution of illegal drugs in the Rinconada towns, was collared by police authorities over the weekend.

Reports gathered by BICOL STANDARD reveal that a search warrant was issued against David Pornillos, Jr. y del Pilar at NB Resort in barangay San Nicolas.

The warrant came fromRTC Executive judge Teotimo Panga Jr. in relation to the intensified anti-drug campaign launched by the police.

Pornillos, a.k.a “Dayuto” has long been in the watch list of alleged dealers and suppliers of the prohibited drugs.

Confiscated during the raid were three (3) pieces of medium size heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing a white crystalline substance believed to be methamphetamine hydrochloride or “shabu” two pieces, five hundred peso bills; two pieces, two hundred peso bills; twenty two (22) pieces, one hundred peso bills; twenty three (23) pieces fifty peso bills; fifteen pieces (15) twenty peso bills; one tooter, surgical scissors and one needle case. The raid was conducted at 6:30 in the morning.

At about 7:30 in the morning, February 16, the same group also raided the residential house occupied by David Pornillos, Jr alias “Dayuto” under a separate search warrant.

The following items were seized: an ice wrapper containing a white crystalline substance believed to be methamphetamine hydrochloride or “shabu”; two pieces large size heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets believed to be containing “shabu”;  ten (10) pieces medium size heat-sealed plastic sachets containing the same substance; one calibre .45 pistol; one calibre .38 revolver; two steel magazines for a calibre .45 pistol; fourteen (14) pieces live ammunition for calibre .45; nine (9) pieces of live ammunition; one water pipe; two lighters; forty eight pieces of one thousand peso bills (P48,000.00); and fifty six pieces five hundred peso bills (P28,000.00).

The search was undertaken in coordination with the representatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Administration (PDEA), and duly witnessed by Ramon Nagrampa, DOJ representative; Punong Barangay Roberto Z. Almazan, barangay Kagawad  Ernesto N. Almazan of Brgy Paloyon; and Annabelle M. Estadilla, media representative.
