Lost in Translation: Dolphin cried, help me!

What many thought was a friendly greeting from a dolphin turned out to be a cry for help.

The mammal, which appears to be a spinner dolphin, was earlier found by residents stranded along the coast of Brgy. Buenasuerte, Uson, Masbate.

It was released later in the afternoon near the coast of Brgy. Dapdap of the same town.

The dolphin, however, returned to the area where it was released. As of this posting, the dolphin continues to linger near the shore. 

Concerned residents have already alerted the authorities and are awaiting for their response.
