Isla Sison drug raid detainees named

The Naga City Police Office, via Senior Supt. Jose Lipa Capinpin, has released the list of 22 detainees who were arrested in yesterday's raid of three drug dens in Sitio Sagrada Familia, formerly Isla Sison, Zone 5A Penafrancia Naga City.

As the list indicates, 16 out of the 22 suspects are from Naga City; four from the town of Calabanga; and one each from the towns of Bombon, Camaligan, and Canaman.

The youngest among the group is 18-year-old Jay-Ar Mabait y Perilla while the eldest is 50-year-old Juancho Uy y Pardo.

One of the suspects, Randy Alegre, who is also from Naga City, is still at large.

Seized items

Along with the list of detainees, the police provided a list of the items that were confiscated in the three drug dens.

Among the items were plastic sachets containing a white substance believed to be metamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu, dried marijuana leaves, improvised aluminum foil tooters, lighters, and cash.

The confiscated items will be turned over to the Camarines Sur Provincial Crime Laboratory Office in Naga City for examination.

Meanwhile, the authorities are now preparing the necessary documents for filing before the Office of the City Prosecutor. (With report from Oscar Esmenda)
