Youth 2014 Frontliners for Change Press Conference previews leadership confab

NAGA CITY - Some of the speakers of tomorrow's Youth 2014 Frontliners for Change Leadership Convention met with the press earlier tonight at the Avenue Plaza Hotel Board Room.

The convention, which is touted as the biggest gathering of youth in the city, is a one-day event that will take place at the Jesse M. Robredo Coliseum.

Heading the group of speakers was Atty. Francis Padua-Papica, keynote speaker and founder of the Francis Padua-Papica Foundation, Inc.

Papica, a graduate of St. Paul Academy in Goa, Camarines Sur, explained his vision for the foundation and the convention, which he hopes will serve to inspire the youth of Camarines Sur. 

Also present were Venus Raj, Miss Universe 4th Runner-up; Jonas Gaffud, President, Mercatur Agency; Vince Hizon and Patricia Hizon; Jim Paredes, entertainer, author and activist, Ryan Cayabyab, the Philipop 2013 winners and the Ryan Cayabyab Singers.

Several highlights of the event include a preview of the performances of the the Philipop 2013 winners and the Ryan Cayabyab Singers, as well as Venus Raj's use of the Rinconada language in her response to one question.

The leadership convention is a project of the Francis Padua-Papica Foundation, a non-profit, public benefit corporation which seeks to encourage and acknowledge the outstanding individual achievements of young Filipino men and women.

Students and youth groups from across the province of Camarines Sur will be participating in said gathering.
