Now hiring at PNP Bicol: 490 non-uniformed personnel


The Philippine National Police Bicol Regional Office announced that it is hiring 490 non-uniformed personnel (NUP).

Regional Director Chief Supt. Victor P. Deona said that the new NUPs will be assigned as crime registrars across the region in the provincial, city, and municipal police stations.

In Camarines Sur, 147 personnel are needed; 20 in Naga City; 50 in Camarines Norte; 63 in Sorsogon; 77 in Albay; 87 in Masbate; and 46 in Catanduanes.

The requirements, according to Deona, are the following: letter of application, personal data sheet or 2005 revised Civil Service Commission (CSC) form 212, 2 x 2 colored picture, certificates of eligibility, training and employment stating the positions assumed and corresponding actual duties and responsibilities, NSO-authenticated birth certificate, marriage certificate if married, NBI clearance, transcript of record and diploma.

Also required are six folders with white tabbing, one of which should contain the original documents mentioned above, whereas the other with authenticated photocopies with corresponding receipt of payments.

Meanwhile, PNP personnel, or applicants who are in service and are seeking for promotion or change in item or plantilla position need to submit an affidavit of undertaking, apart from the abovementioned requirements. Such affidavit should state their commitment to report to the office or unit of their appointment, in case they qualify for the new position.

Likewise, their individual performance evaluation ratings (IPER) for the last two semesters prior to the application must be submitted.
