WWF, BPI Foundation hold lecture on climate change adaptation

NAGA CITY - The World Wide Fund-Philippines and the BPI Foundation, Inc. are holding a lecture on the climate change adaptation in Avenue Square in this city.

The presentation, which began at 10AM, discussed the results and recommendations of the organizations' 2013 study called "Business Risk Assessment and the Management of Climate Change Impacts."

Among the guests are WWF-Philippines Vice-Chair and CEO Jose Ma. Lorenzo Tan, BPI Foundation Executive Director and SVP Florendo Maranan.

Attending the event are members of the press, the education sector, and the local government of Naga.

Mayor John Bongat of the city of Naga assured the WWF and the BPI that the local officials will take into account the results of the study for future planning.
