2,500 people stranded in Matnog Sorsogon: Office of Civil Defense

The Office of Civil Defense Regional Office V reports that at least 2,500 people along with 57 buses, 182 trucks and 20 light vehicles  remain stranded in the port of Matnog, Sorsogon.

The Philippine Coast Guard suspended anew trips of ferry boats from said port to Samar in the wake of strong winds and swells that may put the sea crafts, cargo and the lives of passengers at risk.
