Indian national gets robbed in Catanduanes

SAN ANDRES, CATANDUANESAn Indian national was robbed by three armed men in Barangay Rizal in this municipality.

The man, who was identified as Garbender Singh, is a resident of Brgy. Gogon, Virac.

According to the police report, the victim was riding his motorcycle when he was flagged down by three men wearing black bonnets and jackets. The men, who were allegedly armed with bolos, forcibly took from the victim his motorcycle along with his other personal belongings, including P14,000 in cash, as well as documents.

The suspects also took the victim's motorcycle.

The victim, however, was not harmed.

Authorities are still conducting a hot pursuit operation to bring the suspects to justice.
